In life, we often meet individuals who inspire us and impact our journey in unexpected ways. One such encounter led to the creation of two books that are changing lives and promoting better health, harmony, and happiness. Meet Monica, a sleep coach and yoga therapist, and a woman who is now a very good friend of mine. Together, we are helping people find their path to a more harmonious and healthier life.
 

The Power of Monica’s Wisdom

Monica Le Baron, creator of the Sleep Simplified Program, is dedicated to helping people overcome stress, reduce anxiety, and enjoy restful, rejuvenating sleep. Her wisdom and expertise have proven to be life-changing for hundreds of women, including me.

We met during a year-long program called Impacting Millions, and started getting together each week to talk about all things business, marketing, and how the two of us could truly impact millions.

During one of our weekly meet-ups, Monica shared the idea of turning her 1:1 coaching program into a book. Already having experienced the magic of her mudras and yoga nidra nap, I knew I had to help make this book a reality. The goal was simple: to reach more individuals and extend her support to women seeking to complete the stress cycle and sleep like a queen.

Fast forward one year, and now Monica’s first book “Sleep Simplified” is published. And, in the first week of its release, Sleep Simplified became an Amazon Bestseller. This achievement is a testament to the immense value of Monica’s teachings and the positive impact they have on people’s lives. Her book not only addresses the challenges of stress and anxiety but also offers a comprehensive roadmap to better sleep, which is a critical component of overall well-being.

Unlocking Harmony: A Coloring Book for Better Health and Inner Peace

In this journey of publishing Monica’s book, I was also working on a new book of my own: Unlocking Harmony: A Coloring Book for Better Health and Inner Peace. This book takes a step in a new direction for my work, with the focus on how to use coloring as a tool for improved well-being.

Interestingly, as I collaborated with Monica to create her book, we discovered many common threads between our work. With both of our books now released, and getting wonderful feedback from our communities, it has cultivated a beautiful synergy, opening the door for us to explore a new way of enhancing well-being, one that mixes rejuvenating sleep and the art of coloring.

The “Better Me” Workshop

After I publish a new book, I always make sure to read the whole thing, and to actually put the teachings into action. This time, I decided to take these two recently released books and create my own DIY-at-home “Better Me” Workshop.

The idea is that I will improve my own well-being, and provide an authentic example of the benefits that can be achieved from the books that we’ve made. Here’s how to join me in this Better Me adventure:

  1. Buy both books: Unlocking Harmony and Sleep Simplified (click on photos below)
    •  Bonus: Invite a Friend to Join (gift them the books, or send them the links, and plan to chat each week or every month to see how its going)
  2. Each week, read one chapter in Sleep Simplified and color one page in Unlocking Harmony
    • I followed the 12-week QuickStart Guide in the Sleep Simplified Book.
  3. Continue for 12 weeks, then celebrate and reflect at this half-way point. 
    • How are you feeling? What are you enjoying so far? Have you found a rhythm? (get together with your friend or treat yourself to something special)
  4. For the next 12 weeks, pick a new page in Unlocking Harmony to color each week and a new lesson from Sleep Simplified that you’re most drawn to. 
    • The key here is to start to create your own “recipe” for sleep and relaxation, making it so that the tools you’re learning become habits and that you keep it up long after you’ve finished both books.
  5. You’ve done it! You’ve finished the books! Now, keep going – keep up the habits you’ve formed and continue to grow into a better and better version of yourself.
